Nonlinear Quantum Optics Group
Our group explores how strong interactions between light, atoms, and mechanical systems can be engineered at the quantum level. We combine ultracold atoms and Rydberg excitations with optical, microwave and mechanical resonators to realize nonlinear quantum systems, where single quanta change the whole system. Our work finds applications in quantum information science and quantum technologies.
